TELEMEDICINE CONSULTATION
- Can't come to the office?
- For some of my patients an office visit for a relatively minor problem can be inconvenient, time consuming or difficult because of inability to take time off work, childcare responsibilities, transportation problems, weather related issues and now the concern over the corona virus pandemic.
- I fully understand this and while a face to face office visit is always preferable, if appropriate, I am prepared to offer a telemedicine consultation and treatment for an established patient.
- If you are anticipating a prescription being called in for you, always have your pharmacy number available. Always state whether you have any antibiotic or other drug allergies.
- Once the telemedicine consultation has been arranged through my office. If you are using Doximity, you will receive a text message on your cell phone at the arranged time. Click on the link and allow access to mic/camera. We will then be linked up. This can also be done using MyChart, but you need to tell my staff whether you plan to use Doximity or MyChart.
- Remember this service is for my established patients ONLY, and can only be used for patients who are physically in Massachusetts.
